ISN seeks sustainable business models for Nigerian Hubs

Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs has announced the speakers for the third edition of its Annual Gathering event.

Slated to hold on Thursday, October 14, 2021, the virtual event themed Beyond Incubation – Hubs as Collaborators in Solving Societal Challenges,” will bring together stakeholders including Hub owners and managers, startups, investors, development partners, Corporates, policymakers, and advocates across the innovation ecosystem for learning, knowledge sharing, capacity development, and networking. 

By prioritizing the resolution of a range of societal challenges, the upcoming event hopes to unlock the right combination of features, positioning, public-private collaboration, policies, and funding that would lead to even more exponential growth in the ecosystem, more solutions to societal challenges, more unicorns as well as the improved sustainability of Hubs.

Several distinguished speakers have been confirmed for the event including Olatunbosun Alake the Special Adviser on Innovation & Technology to the Governor of Lagos State, Adaeze Sokan the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub Country Director, Benjamin Meier the GIZ Advisor on Make-IT, Kester Oise Audu, Senior Advisor at GIZ – Nigeria, Victor Gbenga Afolabi, founder at Eko Innovation Centre,  Habiba Ali the CEO of Sosai Energy and Interim Vice President of the Renewable Energies Association of Nigeria. 

This year’s Annual Gathering would be sponsored by AXUM, a platform that connects African startups with European funders, and would feature a product demo with Q & A hosted by Greentec Capital CEO, Erick Yong.
