Digital Transformation Center (DTC) Nigeria is excited to announce a call for applications for its Capacity Development program tailored for Innovation Support Organisations (ISOs). This initiative underscores DTC Nigeria’s commitment to fostering innovation and bolstering the entrepreneurial landscape across Nigeria.
The program’s primary objective is to equip ISOs with the essential tools and resources needed to provide digital transformation services to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and aspiring entrepreneurs, including those who are young and female.
Selected ISOs will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive capacity-building program. Additionally, each chosen ISO will receive financial subsidies to facilitate the implementation of their proposed projects focused on catalysing the digital transformation of MSMEs within their respective regions.
To be eligible for consideration, interested organisations must operate as either a Startup Incubator & Accelerator, an Innovation Hub, or a Venture Studio; and must be operating in one of the following states: Kano, Lagos, Rivers, Abia, or Abuja FCT.
The application process is designed to be transparent and rigorous. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications via before the application deadline of May 10th, 2024, at 23:59:59 hours (WAT). Additionally, an informative session scheduled for April 18th, 2024, will provide valuable insights into the program’s objectives and requirements.
DTC Nigeria recognizes the pivotal role that building the capacities of ISOs plays in unlocking the full potential of MSMEs to drive economic growth and digital transformation within Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem. This program represents a significant stride towards cultivating a vibrant and inclusive innovation ecosystem in Nigeria. By empowering ISOs to spearhead digital transformation initiatives within the MSME sector, DTC Nigeria aims to propel the nation towards sustainable economic development while nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerian innovators.
